About Me
My name is James E. Harris. I was born on Feb. 24 of 2000 in Taylorville. I'm grateful for my parents because they raised me to be a friendly and well rounded person to everyone. Other mentos in my life include my teachers who taught me that it is okay to make mistakes, and many other individuals have uplifted me as well. My most fond childhood memories are playing football and making new friends on and off the field. My favorite memory is when I got my four wheel and drove it around my yard for the first time. One of the many people who have influenced my personal development would be my dad ,¨Vince Harris.¨ He taught me how to get things done even when you have to do it alone. He showed me that it is okay to cry when you get hurt by something or someone. Other things he has showed me is that hard work speaks louder than words. One thing that has helped me become who I am today is when I hit a ditch back in Oct. 6 of 2016. My future plans are to join the Illinois National Guard than open up my own shop for auto detailing which is going to be my business for this class. My lifetime dream is to out rank my dad which I will do one of these days. Some of my awards over my life are the JH Boys Basketball captain of the year in my 8th grade year and South Fork High School football Pony Player of the year in my senior year.
