About Me

Hello, my name is Ben Wamsley. I am a senior at Taylorville High School and have lived in Taylorville my whole life. I involved in numerous organizations such as FFA, Tommy TV, Tommy Awards, NHS, 4-H, FCA, and the IHSA as an official. In addition, I help raise sheep at my grandparents farm, and show them at local and national contests. My future plans are to obtain a degree in sports communications and pursue a career in sports broadcasting. In an effort to increase my buisiness and life skills, I joined the CEO program. From what I have heard from friends, there is no other class that is going to prepare a person for the rest of their lives better than CEO. My hope is that through CEO’s tours, speakers, and buisiness opportunities, I will learn how to be professional and valued in my future career. This program has already given me the opportunity to meet and learn about new people, and I look forward to a year filled with development, leadership, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
